Crawford Gardens, located in the northeast quadrant of Washington, DC, was completed in 2024. The general contractor for this project was Bozzuto Construction. Crawford Gardens has 8,759 square feet of SOG and 12,086 square feet of Structural slab. On this project L. A. Howard Construction poured over 2,000 CY of concrete in addition to concrete walls, frame stairs, concrete columns, elevator pits, shear walls, etc.

L. A. Howard Construction was responsible for major concrete operations on this site, placing over 4,477 cubic yards of concrete. The scope included approximately 58,271 square feet of slab on grade (1,106 CY) and 86,710 square feet of framed structural slab (3,371 CY).

The project also involved concrete walls, grade beams, columns, retaining structures, and other vertical and horizontal concrete elements. Due to site conditions and structural demands, a mobile crane was utilized to support formwork and material placement throughout various phases of the project.

This work exemplifies our ability to manage and execute large-scale, technically demanding concrete packages with precision and efficiency.
